Buon giorno! While sipping my coffee this morning, I was watching the fishermen harvest their grapes that are growing in the courtyard in front of the house.
They brought them home and made wine. 180 liters of wine!
This winter Rita and Enzo will host a party and we'll all enjoy the fruit of their labor!
Rita was telling me that she used to get a half a pig and for a week prepare a huge feast for this "tasting". I'm sorry I missed those days! The past couple of years that I've been here, they've had a great pizza party in their downstairs room. They have a wood burning oven and it's a night of friends, food, wine, and laughter!
